Welcome Party: Cocktail attire. Midi or knee-length dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy separates are perfect for women. Men can wear a suit or sport coat with dress pants and a collared shirt. Ties are optional.

Wedding Day: Black tie. Tuxedos are requested for gentlemen. Floor-length gowns, elegant midi dresses, or formal evening attire are encouraged for ladies. As the ceremony and cocktail reception are planned outdoors, weather permitting, we recommend appropriate footwear for garden paths and lawns.

Day Two Celebration: Garden party attire. Comfortable, polished, and perfect for an afternoon outdoors. Sundresses, skirts, jumpsuits, linen shirts, chinos, polos, and loafers are all great choices.

A "Day Two" is a beloved Irish wedding tradition. It is a casual, relaxed gathering held the day after the main ceremony, where the couple and guests can enjoy food, drinks, and music, share stories from the celebration, and spend more time together without the structure of the wedding day.

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be held in the gardens, with cocktails to follow on the Garden Terrace. The Welcome Party and Day Two Celebration will be hosted primarily indoors, with seamless access to the outdoors, weather permitting.

June is a beautiful time to visit Ireland, with long daylight hours, lush green scenery, and plenty of sunshine. Temperatures are typically mild (55–68°F / 13–20°C), though Irish weather can change quickly.

ASAP! There is limited capacity at the hotels and B&Bs so we recommend booking your accommodations as soon as you know your travel plans. 

While we absolutely adore your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration (16+). We hope this advance notice gives you plenty of time to make any necessary arrangements.

For those staying at Horse and Jockey Hotel, transportation will be provided to and from Cashel Palace Hotel for all wedding weekend events. Please check back closer to the wedding date for transportation schedules.
